August 2024. For many of you reading this will be your peak Summer month. It will be the month that you perhaps spend most time with family, the least time worrying about work. That we leave until September and Virgo season beckon us back into routine, structure and goals.
For now, i want this monthly overview to give you an opportunity to give back to you. Whether you are single, in a relationship, with many toddlers or older and retired, I want this month’s astrology overview to help you hold space to hear your heart, take a break from thinking too much. Which is why this monthly overview will intentionally be more atmospheric, perhaps more open, so you can fill in your own blanks. August is after all, for those of us in the northern hemisphere, our fodder month, the month before the harvest.

04/08 - New Moon in Ashleesha Nakshtra (Cancer) this is a transformative, spiritual new moon that will help you evolve.
05/08 - The day after the New Moon - Mercury turns retrograde in Leo, and will stay retrograde until August 28th.
16/08 - Leo season officially begins in the Vedic calendar. This is a season ruled by the Sun. Step into your highest self. Shine.
19/08 - Full Moon in Dhanishta nakshatra! This is a Mars ruled nakshatra in the sign of Capricorn - a determined and driven Full Moon.
19/08 - On the same day as the Full Moon, Jupiter in Taurus squares Saturn in Aquarius. This, is a monumental moment when you have reached a turning point in your year.
