The New Moon on December 1st is in Anuradha nakshatra, within Scorpio zodiac.
Anuradha is a nakshatra that pertains to all our important alliances and romantic relationships. I once knew someone who was head of collaborations at a fashion giant. She had her Moon in Anuradha. The deity of this nakshatra is Mitra, the God of contracts. So the wisdom that’s hidden within this moon cycle is all about relationships, and what it means to be a part of a duo. The first thing to note is that individuality and separateness must be sacrificed in order to have true partnership. Scorpio’s need for deep emotional understanding comes through in this nakshatra. The idea being that one only gains anothers trust when one feels fully understood and seen. Without being seen for who we are, we cannot give out our trust.
This moon cycle also involves an important Mercury retrograde, while the planetary ruler of Scorpio, Mars, stations retrograde on December 7th. This is a rare astral event that i will share more about closer to the time. December can be a month where we truly benefit from moving slowly. Multiple retrogrades are a signal to go softly, because there is a lot we may have to integrate from our year.
