The New Moon on September 2nd/3rd is in the nakshatra of Purva Phalguni, arguably the most creative nakshatra.
However, Saturn opposes the Sun and Moon, making the first few weeks of September move slowly. Saturn is the planet of boundaries, limitations and control. So we can come to a firm decision about a matter this month. It’s a great month to plan ahead and get a feel for where we want to invest our energy in the coming months. This is thanks to Pallas (star of war strategy) opposing Uranus (innovation) which allows for some gently innovative solutions in the coming weeks. I say gently, because Venus rules this nakshatra, so the way to move through September is with discipline, but with appreciation for rest, art, beauty. Find the balance between hard work and leaving room for pleasure. Sex, art and music are all a big part of this nakshatra.
With Venus conjunct Ketu on the 3rd/4th September, some deep healing is available. Ketu is the karmic point of release, the remover of our attachments. Ketu also increases our intuition, so this week is excellent for meditation, dream insights and intuitive journalling. Time alone is beneficial, as Ketu often isolates us in order to give us the fruits of our internal work. With both Saturn and Ketu highly active in the coming weeks, working in solitude will bring great results, as both these astral bodies want us to know who we are, and go within. These stars do not tolerate co-dependency.
For relationships or work partnerships that are creative and have something important to accomplish, this moon cycle is supportive, and Venus will soften our edges, and make us more diplomatic, especially towards the end of September.
